London to Moscow: 'We see you. We know what you're doing. We are ready'

Tensions between London and Moscow are escalating. The British Ministry of Defense announced that two Russian warships, the corvette Stoiky and the supply ship Yelnya, were detected in the English Channel.

The patrol ship Severn of the British Royal Navy intercepted the Russian ships, leading them off the coast of Brittany in France, where a NATO ship took over monitoring.

Britain considers the Yantar, a Russian spy ship, suspected of attempting to map underwater cables of the United Kingdom. The crew of the Yantar used lasers to disrupt monitoring by RAF pilots, an action that Defense Secretary John Healey called "extremely dangerous."

John Healey addressed Russia and President Vladimir Putin, saying: 'We see you. We know what you're doing. We are ready.'

According to the British Ministry of Defense, violations of British territorial waters by Russian ships have increased by 30% in the last two years.

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom, the US and Australia imposed sanctions on the Russian company Media Land, considering it responsible for cyberattacks.
