Lavrov: Europe Undermining Progress on Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused European leaders of attempting to undermine progress made at the U.S.-Russia summit in Alaska regarding a potential peace agreement in Ukraine.

Lavrov claimed that Kyiv's European allies are trying to shift the focus away from addressing what Moscow sees as the 'causes' of the war. He also reiterated Russia's concerns about discussions regarding security guarantees for Ukraine, in which Moscow is not involved.
