Lavrov: No 'Bright Future' Seen in Russia-US Economic Ties

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Russia remains open to cooperation with the United States, but does not expect significant improvement in economic ties.
In an interview with TV BRICS, Lavrov mentioned that the U.S. is pursuing 'economic dominance' and that this creates obstacles. He also cited sanctions imposed by the Trump administration on Russia's energy sector.
Lavrov emphasized that Russia will seek alternative ways to develop economic and financial relations with BRICS countries.
