Kyriakos Mitsotakis in India: Investments, Weddings, and Artificial Intelligence

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is in India to participate in a forum on artificial intelligence, while inviting Indian businesses to invest in Greece and promoting the country as a destination for Indian weddings.

Today, he will meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as executives from OpenAI (Sam Altman), Google DeepMind (Demis Hassabis), and Microsoft (Brad Smith).

Kyriakos Mitsotakis mentioned the increasing direct flights between Greece and India, as well as the two new consulates that will operate in Mumbai and Bangalore, with the aim of increasing visa issuance and promoting mutual investments.

He also stressed that Greece wishes to be a gateway for India to Europe, referring to the IMEC project and the participation of the Indian company GMR in the construction of the airport in Kastelli.
