Cyprus, Greece, and Israel Strengthen Military Cooperation

The leaders of Cyprus, Greece, and Israel have agreed to further strengthen cooperation at the level of armed forces. The agreement was reached during the tenth Trilateral Summit held in Jerusalem.
In their joint declaration, Nikos Christodoulides, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and Benjamin Netanyahu recognized that the region is at a historic turning point. They emphasized that cooperation extends from India, through the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean, to Europe.
The three countries agreed to convene an annual Summit of Leaders and intensify trilateral meetings at ministerial and official levels.
They also reaffirmed the importance of the 3+1 format with the United States of America (USA) and invited other like-minded partners to participate.
The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, stated that there are no limits to the prospects for cooperation between the three countries.
