Cyprus, Greece, Israel: Joint Military Exercises in 2026

Joint exercises between Cyprus, Greece, and Israel will take place as part of the planning by GEEF for 2026, according to the Minister of Defence, Vasilis Palmas.
The exercises will include joint training of the three armies, staff training, and joint military exercises, with the aim of improving the capabilities of the armies.
Mr. Palmas stressed that the agreements concern 2026. Similar exercises are also planned with Egypt and Jordan. He also recalled the naval exercise of Cyprus, Greece, Egypt that took place at the end of November.
The agreement between military officials from Cyprus, Greece, and Israel concerns the conduct of these exercises. The date of the exercises has not yet been determined and will be decided by the military staffs of the three countries.
