China Calls for Immediate Halt to Strikes Against Iran

China has called for an immediate cessation of military operations against Iran to prevent further escalation of the conflict. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi urged his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa'ar, to stop the strikes, according to Xinhua news agency.

Wang Yi emphasized that China opposes any military attack by Israel and the US against Iran, stressing that force does not solve problems but creates new ones. He also mentioned that recent negotiations between Iran and the US had made progress, which was interrupted by the bombings.

Tehran is intensifying its attacks against US-linked positions in the Gulf, in retaliation for attacks by Israel and the US against the Islamic Republic.
