Kim Jong Un Oversees Missile Launch with Daughter

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw a live-fire test of multiple rocket launcher systems, accompanied by his daughter, who is considered his successor.

According to KCNA, Kim Jong Un observed an exercise involving twelve 600mm-diameter rocket launchers off the east coast of North Korea.

South Korea's military reported detecting approximately 10 ballistic missiles launched from the North Korean capital region into the eastern sea. South Korea's National Security Council condemned the launches as a violation of UN Security Council resolutions.

Kim Jong Un stated that the exercise would cause concern to enemies within a 420-kilometer range and provide them with "a deep understanding of the destructive power of tactical nuclear weapons."

"If this weapon is used, the enemy's military infrastructure within its striking range will never survive," Kim Jong Un said, according to KCNA.
