K. Kombos Calls for More EU-US Dialogue

Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos has called for increased dialogue in relations between the European Union and the United States.

In statements arriving at the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels, Mr. Kombos stated that dialogue will ensure the strength of transatlantic relations.

Referring to Cyprus' upcoming assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Mr. Kombos also chaired the EU-Tajikistan Association Council, emphasizing that Central Asia remains a high priority area for the EU.
