Israel is expressing strong concerns about President Trump's 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza, ahead of a vote at the UN Security Council. According to ALPHA Cyprus analyst Gavriil Charitos, there are significant differences of opinion between the Netanyahu and Trump governments.

Independent Palestinian State: Prime Minister Netanyahu reiterated that Israel will not accept the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, considering it a reward for Hamas. Minister Gila Gamliel stated that efforts are being made to remove any reference to a Palestinian state from the American draft resolution.

Multinational Force: There is stagnation regarding the creation of a multinational force in Gaza. Turkey is willing to participate, but Israel is vetoing it. Indonesia, which does not recognize Israel, is the only other country that has expressed interest, but its troops will not be allowed to enter.

Recapture of Gaza: The head of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, stated that the units are ready to recapture the areas controlled by Hamas. Minister Amichai Chikli described Turkey as Israel's number one enemy and called for its isolation.

Disagreements over Saudi Arabia: There are disagreements regarding the sale of American F-35 fighters to Saudi Arabia, with Israel seeking to maintain its technological superiority.
