Israel Destroys Iranian Fighter Jets in Tabriz

Israeli forces destroyed two Iranian fighter jets at the Tabriz airport in western Iran, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The F-4 and F-5 aircraft were reportedly preparing for takeoff.
The Israeli military stated that the raids aimed to "strike at the activities of the Iranian air force and worsen the damage to the regime's defense systems."
The Jerusalem Post reports that Israel believes it is close to achieving air superiority in Iranian airspace, having dropped more than 1,200 bombs.
The IDF reported that more than 200 aircraft struck 500 Iranian targets on Saturday night. Released videos show two main waves of attacks. The first wave hit radar and anti-aircraft systems, while the second wave targeted the Iranian ballistic missile arsenal. A new round of raids has been announced.
