Israel Approves New Housing in West Bank

Israel has announced the approval of the construction of 3,400 new homes in the occupied West Bank, shortly after approving a plan to occupy the city of Gaza.
This move is expected to lead to the division of Palestinian territories, eliminating territorial continuity and undermining the prospect of a Palestinian state.
The plan, which had been frozen since 2012 due to international reactions, envisages connecting the Jewish settlement of Ma'ale Adumim with East Jerusalem, cutting off the city intended as the capital of the future Palestinian state from the rest of the West Bank.
Jewish settlements in the West Bank and the military occupation by Israel are considered illegal by the international community.
