Israel: Doubts over Lebanon ceasefire

Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, has expressed doubts about the lasting ceasefire in Lebanon, stating that it is 'not 100% guaranteed'.
He questioned the Lebanese government's ability to implement the ceasefire in the southern part of the country, where Hezbollah, supported by Iran, operates.
In an interview with CNN, he stated: 'The Lebanese government does not control Hezbollah, which is launching rockets and trying to undermine the ceasefire. Israel must retaliate. Every time we detect a threat, we take action'.
Danon described the agreement as 'significantly better than the previous situation' but reiterated that it is 'not 100% guaranteed', while expressing hope that the Lebanese army will be able to effectively implement the ceasefire.
