Iranians Flee Tehran Bombings via Turkey

Amid freezing temperatures, groups of Iranians are crossing the border into eastern Turkey, seeking safety after bombings in Tehran and other Iranian cities. Citizens describe a situation of intense anxiety and disruption to daily life.
A 35-year-old woman, who left her husband behind, stated that she hasn't slept in three days, fleeing Tehran amidst bombings. She plans to travel to Istanbul and then to Sydney.
75-year-old Ibrahim Jalili and his wife left Urmia en route to Istanbul, where they will meet their son. He reported numerous explosions in the city.
A 20-year-old medical student from Urmia is heading to Turkey to secure a visa for China in order to continue his studies.
While some Iranians are leaving, others are returning to their homeland. A 25-year-old hairdresser from Istanbul is returning to Iran, as she couldn't contact her parents and cannot live apart from them.
Commercial trucks and taxis with passengers also headed towards the Iranian side, while more Iranians were returning to their country despite the ongoing bombings.
