Iran Launches Missiles Towards Cyprus – Intercepted by RAF

British Defence Secretary John Healey stated that Iran launched two missiles towards Cyprus. According to him, the missiles were intercepted.

RAF fighters took off from bases in Cyprus and Qatar to protect these countries. Mr. Healey told Sky News that it is not certain whether the missiles were targeting British bases.

He also mentioned that approximately 300 British military personnel were near targeted locations in Bahrain. Mr. Healey called on Iran to stop the attacks and abandon its weapons programs.

He condemned Iran for terrorist plots against the United Kingdom and the supply of drones to Russia. He declined to comment on the legality of the US-Israeli attacks.
