Iranian state television reported that drones belonging to the Revolutionary Guards attacked the American aircraft carrier 'Abraham Lincoln,' which has been deployed in the Gulf region since late January.

According to the Revolutionary Guards, the aircraft carrier was forced to move 'more than a thousand kilometers away from the area.' However, no videos or photographs confirming the attack were released.

A spokesman for the Revolutionary Guards stated that the 'Abraham Lincoln' had approached within 340 kilometers of Iran's maritime border in the Gulf of Oman. The U.S. military command (Centcom) has previously called claims of an attack on the aircraft carrier a 'lie.' There has been no official statement from the U.S. armed forces regarding the incident so far.
