Iran: German Condemnation of US-Israel Attack

Nearly 6 in 10 Germans condemn the US and Israeli attack on Iran, according to a poll. 58% of respondents consider the attack unjustified, while 85% express concern about the increasing prevalence of the 'law of the jungle' in global politics.
The poll, conducted by DeutschlandTrend on behalf of ARD, also recorded that 77% of Germans consider the international political situation threatening, an increase compared to 54% before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Furthermore, 80% are concerned about possible disruptions to international trade and an increase in the price of oil, with fuel prices in Germany already exceeding 2 euros/liter.
Finally, three in four respondents fear the war will spread to other countries, while confidence in the US and Russia remains low, at 15% and 12% respectively.
