The White House announced that Iran has suspended 800 executions that were scheduled to take place. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that "all options" remain on the table from the U.S. side.

Among the detainees who were not executed is 26-year-old Erfan Soltani, who had been sentenced to hanging after his arrest last week. A family member confirmed the suspension of the execution to Sky News but stressed that it does not mean he has definitively avoided execution.

Donald Trump warned Tehran of "serious consequences" if the crackdown on protests continues. He also confirmed the telephone conversation between the US President and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who requested that there be no military intervention in Iran.

Donald Trump stated that, according to information he received, Iran has stopped executing protesters and does not intend to proceed with further executions.
