US Denies Iranian Drone Strike on Abraham Lincoln Aircraft Carrier

A U.S. official has denied Iranian state television reports that the American aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was hit by Iranian drones.

"These reports are false," the official stated.

Iranian state television reported on Thursday that drones belonging to the Revolutionary Guards struck the Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier in the Gulf region. No further details were provided.

On Monday, the Revolutionary Guards claimed to have hit the aircraft carrier with four Iranian missiles, which the U.S. military command for the Middle East (Centcom) dismissed as a "lie."
