Indonesia Ready to Send Troops to Gaza for International Force

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto told the UN that his country is ready to contribute troops to an international peacekeeping force in Gaza, following a potential ceasefire.
"We must not remain silent when Palestinians are denied justice," Subianto said during the annual UN session, emphasizing Indonesia's commitment to peace and security.
Indonesia is already a significant contributor to UN peacekeeping forces. The president stated that his country is ready to deploy 20,000 or more soldiers to help maintain peace in Gaza, as well as in other regions such as Ukraine, Sudan and Libya, should the UN Security Council decide so.
The "New York Declaration," prepared by France and Saudi Arabia, foresees the deployment of a "temporary international stabilization mission" in Gaza under the auspices of the UN, aimed at providing security guarantees to Palestine and Israel.
