Hellas Sat: Agreement for Battlefield ReDEFiNED 2026

Hellas Sat is strengthening its role in the European security architecture through its participation in the Battlefield ReDEFiNED 2026 exhibition and the signing of an agreement with leading European organizations.
On February 26, 2026, in Nicosia, Hellas Sat signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Thales Alenia Space, Safran Data Systems, and the French space center CNES to develop new generation satellite communications.
The Hellas Sat 5 mission, scheduled for after 2027, aims to develop an integrated ecosystem of space and ground infrastructure, utilizing state-of-the-art optical ground stations.
Christodoulos Protopapas, CEO of Hellas Sat, stated that participation in Battlefield ReDEFiNED 2026 and the Hellas Sat 5 program mark a historic turning point for the company.
Hellas Sat, founded in 2001 and a member of the Arabsat group since 2013, provides satellite services to Europe, the Middle East, and South Africa, with control centers in Koropi and Cyprus.
