Global Sumud Flotilla Returns to Barcelona Due to Bad Weather

The Global Sumud Flotilla, en route to Gaza, was forced to return to Barcelona due to adverse weather conditions. The flotilla, consisting of dozens of vessels, is carrying humanitarian aid and pro-Palestinian activists, including Greta Thunberg.

Organizers stated that strong winds, with speeds up to 50 km/h, made the journey dangerous, especially for smaller vessels. The date for the resumption of the journey has not yet been announced.

Activists, including Game of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham, are participating in the flotilla, aiming to break the naval blockade of Israel and deliver food and humanitarian supplies.
