FT: Israel Prepares for Prolonged Campaign Against Hezbollah

According to the Financial Times, Israel anticipates that the attack on Lebanon will last longer than the conflict with Iran. The Israeli military is preparing for a prolonged campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israel's plan aims to inflict significant damage on Hezbollah, mitigating the fears of residents in northern Israel about the need for evacuation. Israel currently controls at least 12 forward bases along the Lebanese border.

Israeli officials were reportedly discussing the option of launching an attack against Hezbollah even before the start of the attack on Iran.
