Erdogan: The War's Cost is Paid by All of Humanity

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the global impact of the war, speaking at a meeting with the World Economic Forum in Istanbul.

Erdoğan stated that the region has been shaken for a month by a "senseless, illegal, and unnecessary war," stressing that the cost is paid by "all of humanity."

He pointed out that the negative consequences of the war are felt on a global scale, from energy markets to production, technology, transportation, and trade chains. He warned that if the conflicts are not stopped, the cost will become even heavier, affecting even countries on other continents, mainly in the energy sector.

Erdoğan argued that the global system is entering a more competitive and fragile period, with energy security and supply chains being key challenges.
