Ukrainian Drone Attack Paralyzes Moscow Airports

An alert was triggered in Moscow on Sunday night as a Ukrainian drone attack led to the closure of two airports. Russian air defenses shot down dozens of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles heading towards Moscow.
Within six hours, air defenses shot down 34 enemy drones, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports were closed for approximately 2.5 hours, according to the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya).
In the Tula region, 24 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down. There were no reports of damage. Kyiv has stated that its attacks aim to destroy infrastructure considered vital for Russian military operations in Ukraine.
