Edi Rama: Greek Scholarship to Harvard – Revelation

A post on "X" revealed a previously unknown aspect of Edi Rama's studies: the scholarship he received from a Greek foundation to attend Harvard University. Niki Tzavella, former Member of Parliament for New Democracy, stated that as the person responsible for selecting scholarship recipients from Southeastern Europe, she played a decisive role in the decision to award the scholarship to the then-Mayor of Tirana.
According to Ms. Tzavella, Edi Rama was selected to study at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. She also reminded that Rama has Greek ancestry on his mother's side.
Ms. Tzavella's post came after a public discussion between Edi Rama and Greek-American journalist John Defterios, where the Albanian Prime Minister launched sharp comments. Ms. Tzavella described her choice as a "major mistake," expressing disappointment at Rama's subsequent stance towards Greece.
Edi Rama responded that his comments were misinterpreted by the media in Athens.
