Greek anti-UAV system integrated into Israeli BARAK-MX

Hellenic Aerospace Industry (EAB) and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced the completion of the integration of the "Kentauros" anti-UAV system into the BARAK-MX Air Defense and Anti-Missile Protection System.
This integration aims to provide increased flexibility and more options against rapidly changing threats, combining Hard Kill and Soft Kill capabilities in a unified command and control environment.
The BARAK-MX is an internationally recognized system designed to counter a wide range of threats, while the "Kentauros" adds critical Soft Kill capabilities for countering UAV/UAS through electronic support and jamming.
A recent technical field demonstration confirmed the full integration of the two systems, from threat detection and assessment to the activation of electronic countermeasures.
Alexandros Diakopoulos, Executive Chairman of EAB, stated that the successful field demonstration is a significant technological milestone for EAB.
Boaz Levy, President and CEO of Israel Aerospace Industries, emphasized the importance of technological superiority and fully integrated architecture in modern air defense systems.
The cooperation between IAI and EAB strengthens defense autonomy and interoperability, forming a strong shield to protect Greek airspace.
