Estonia-Russia Diplomatic Incident: Russian Border Guards Enter Territory

A diplomatic incident is unfolding between Tallinn and Moscow following Estonia's claim that Russian border guards entered its territory. According to reports, three Russian border guards remained for approximately 20 minutes within Estonian territory. Estonian authorities are investigating the incident, attempting to determine whether it was an unintentional act or a deliberate provocation.

The incident, which was recorded on video, occurred near the Vasknarva breakwater on the Narva River. The Estonian Minister of the Interior stated ignorance of the motives behind the action, emphasizing that Russian vessels must request permission to pass through the area.

"There was no immediate security threat, but the Police and Border Guard have significantly increased their presence and patrols," the minister stated.
