Cyprus Denies Reports of Iranian Missiles Targeting British Bases

The UK Defence Secretary reported that two missiles were launched from Iran towards Cyprus, where British military bases are located. John Healey expressed uncertainty as to whether the bases were the intended target.
However, the Republic of Cyprus has categorically denied the reports. Defence Minister Vassilis Palmas told CYBC that the reports are untrue. Government Spokesman Constantinos Letymbiotis also confirmed that there is no indication of a threat to the country and that the competent authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
