"No Kings" Protests in US and Europe Against Trump and Iran War

Thousands of citizens participated in "No Kings" protests in the US and Europe, expressing their opposition to Donald Trump and a potential war in Iran.
The main gathering took place in Minnesota, where Bruce Springsteen performed the song "Streets of Minneapolis," dedicated to the victims of fatal shootings by federal agents. Springsteen expressed his support for the protesters and their resistance to the Trump administration's immigration policies.
Protests were held in many US cities, from New York to Driggs, Idaho. In Topeka, Kansas, protesters gathered outside the state legislature, while in Washington, they marched from the Lincoln Memorial to the National Mall.
According to organizers, there were more than 3,100 events in all US states. Donna Lieberman, executive director of the New York Civil Liberties Union, stated that Trump seeks to create fear in citizens to prevent them from protesting.
Republican officials downplayed the mobilizations, with White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson calling them a product of "left-wing funding networks."
Mobilizations also took place in European cities such as Rome, London, and Paris. In Rome, protesters expressed their opposition to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the attacks on Iran. In London, they protested against the far right and racism, while in Paris, American citizens and human rights organizations expressed their opposition to Trump's policies.
