CNN: Trump Aims to Broker Zelensky-Putin Meeting

According to a CNN analysis, Donald Trump is seeking to organize a trilateral meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky. However, the Kremlin appears cautious, questioning the legitimacy of Zelensky as president.
A Russian journalist, speaking anonymously, stated that such a meeting would be seen merely as a public relations stunt. Putin has expressed doubts about Zelensky's legitimacy due to the cancellation of Ukrainian elections. Nevertheless, he left open the possibility of a meeting under specific conditions, such as holding elections in Ukraine before any agreement.
Former Russian diplomat Boris Bondarev noted that Putin would agree to a trilateral meeting only if he believes it will have concrete results. CNN's analysis concludes that Trump's effort to bring Zelensky and Putin to the same table is a difficult gamble.
