Bloomberg: Germany Approves Eurofighter Sale to Turkey

Germany has approved the sale of 40 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets to Turkey, a NATO member.

The Federal Government Security Council in Berlin approved the request, which was submitted by Turkey in March 2023. The aircraft are a product of collaboration between BAE Systems, Airbus, and Leonardo.

Production will take place in the United Kingdom, with components from Germany. A representative of the German government declined to comment.
