US Federal Appeals Court: Most Trump Tariffs Illegal

A Federal Appeals Court in the United States has ruled that most of the tariffs imposed by former President Donald Trump are illegal, upholding a lower court ruling.

The verdict concerns tariffs that do not affect specific sectors, excluding tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.

The implementation of the decision has been suspended until October 14, and the case is expected to go to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Donald Trump has called the decision wrong, insisting that all tariffs remain in effect.
