Brussels: Flight Cancellations Due to Cyberattack
Share on:

Over nine flights were canceled at Brussels Airport, and delays were observed early in the morning due to a cyberattack on an airport service provider.

By 7:00 AM local time, nine flights had been canceled, and fifteen were delayed by at least one hour. The issue began late Friday night, with cancellations and delays continuing on Saturday.

The airport advises passengers to arrive only if their flight is confirmed and to monitor updates. Additionally, early arrival at the airport is recommended: two hours before Schengen flights and three hours before non-Schengen flights.

Berlin Brandenburg Airport confirmed it was indirectly affected, causing check-in and boarding delays. London Heathrow Airport reported a technical issue at Collins Aerospace, which may cause delays.

Authorities and airlines are working to address the issues and normalize airport operations.
