UK: Mother Imprisoned Woman for 25 Years, Abused Her

A shocking case has come to light in the UK involving a 56-year-old mother of ten who held a woman with learning disabilities captive for 25 years. Mandy Wixson, from Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, forced her into forced labor, abused her, and caused her physical harm.
The victim, referred to as 'K', was given to Wixson in 1996 at the age of 16. Until March 2021, she suffered horrific abuse, including beatings, deprivation of food and water, and exposure to chemicals. The case was revealed when one of Wixson's sons reported her actions to the police.
Wixson was found guilty of false imprisonment, forced labor, assault, and causing bodily harm. The court sentenced her to imprisonment. 'K' stated that the abuse deprived her of 25 years of life, but she now feels safe with her new family.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed that 'K' is receiving support and is 'thriving' in her new life.
