Turkey: Student Shoots School Principal in Mersin

A student opened fire on his school principal in Mersin, Turkey, during a break. The incident caused panic in the school community.

According to Turkish media, the student had been reprimanded by the principal the previous week for riding an electric bicycle to school.

The principal is in critical condition at the Mersin University Medical School Hospital. The minor perpetrator and his father have been arrested by the authorities.
