Epiphany with African Dust and Mud Rain in Attica

Increased concentrations of African dust and mud rain are expected in Attica and other regions of Greece until Thursday, according to meteo.gr.
The weather conditions will be characterized by strong southerly winds and a rise in temperature. In Attica, clouds are expected with a chance of light rain, mainly towards the evening, with temperatures reaching up to 18 degrees Celsius.
According to forecast data, mud rain is expected in places until the early hours of Wednesday, mainly in the west and north, as well as in the northeastern Aegean. Subsequently, mud rain will occur in places in the remaining parts of the country.
From Wednesday evening and especially on Thursday, the winds will turn to westerly-northwesterly, with a drop in temperature and the entry of colder air masses. Snowfall is expected in the mountains of Epirus, Western Macedonia, Central Greece and the Peloponnese.
The winds will reach 7 to 8 Beaufort in the Ionian and Aegean Seas, causing intense waves.
