Constant Vigilance in Evros After Floods

Authorities remain on alert in Evros following extensive flooding caused by dam collapses. Despite the large volume of water continuing to flow from Bulgaria, a slight decrease in water levels has been recorded in Lavara.

The receding waters will reveal the extent of the damage suffered by local farmers, who express their despair as they estimate it will take at least 2 months for the water to drain, causing them to lose the new cultivation period.
