Train Collision in Slovakia: Reports of Injuries

Two trains collided in Slovakia, near Bratislava, with initial reports indicating multiple injuries.
Police announced that at 7:31 p.m., a notification was received regarding a collision of two trains on line 158, in the Pezinok – Bratislava section.
Local media report that the accident occurred when the REX 1814 train, operating on the Nitra – Bratislava route, collided head-on with the Ex 620 train shortly after leaving Pezinok station. Rescue services have rushed to the scene.
The collision occurred between the capital Bratislava and Pezinok, which is about 20 kilometers northeast of the capital.
