A shocking incident occurred on a flight from Novosibirsk to Moscow when a 39-year-old passenger punched a flight attendant for not allowing her to use the phone shortly after takeoff.

According to reports, the woman, traveling on a Boeing 737, became enraged when the crew refused her request to make a phone call just minutes after the flight's departure. Video footage shows the passenger arguing vehemently and then attacking the flight attendant, before other passengers and crew members intervened to restrain her.

The crew attempted to calm the passenger by providing her with the rules of conduct, but she crumpled the document and threw it in a flight attendant's face. The attempted phone use was followed by the assault. Upon landing at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow, the woman was arrested by police, who are continuing their investigation.
