4.5 Richter Earthquake off Crete

An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale occurred on Wednesday afternoon in a sea area off Crete.

According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake is located southwest of Kythira, at a distance of over 110 kilometers. The focal depth is estimated at around 63 kilometers.

The tremor was recorded in the sea area between Crete and Kythira, with no reports of damage or injuries.
