Poland: Mass Enrollment for Volunteer Military Training

Thousands of Poles are enrolling in volunteer military training amid concerns about Russian aggression. More than 20,000 have registered in the first seven months of 2025.

The head of the Central Recruitment Center stated that approximately 40,000 volunteers will complete their training by the end of the year, more than double the 16,000 in 2022.

Volunteers train alongside professional soldiers but are not integrated into regular units unless they officially enlist.
