Ukraine: At Least 20 Dead in Russian Strikes

At least 20 people have been killed and approximately 40 injured in Russian airstrikes in the Ukrainian regions of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk on Monday night to Tuesday, according to local authorities.

In total, eight Russian strikes killed 16 people in Zaporizhzhia, where a detention center was hit, while three other raids killed 4 people in Dnipropetrovsk, according to authorities in the two regions.

The Ukrainian regional governor in Zaporizhzhia, Ivan Fedorov, reported that buildings in the detention center were destroyed, while nearby residences were also damaged. According to the report he published via Telegram, at least 16 people were killed and 35 others were injured.
