Ukraine: Attacks on Police – Explosions in Mykolaiv and Dnipro

Seven police officers were injured in an explosion in the city of Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine. According to the head of the national police, Ivan Vyhivskyi, two of the injured are in serious condition. The incident comes after another explosion on Saturday in the city of Lviv, where a policewoman was killed and 24 people were injured.
In addition, an explosion was reported at a police station in the city of Dnipro, causing property damage. There were no reports of injuries. Authorities are investigating the causes of the explosions, with Ivan Vyhivskyi speaking of a terrorist attack.
The attacks come amid ongoing clashes and exchanges of missile attacks between Russia and Ukraine.
