Ukraine: 20-Year-Old Killed in Russian Strike on Kharkiv
Russian shelling in Kharkiv has claimed the life of a 20-year-old woman, with others injured. Attacks also occurred in Sumy, according to authorities.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the strike was from an enemy drone. Oleh Syniehubov, head of the local military administration, confirmed the victim was 20 years old.
In Sumy, an airstrike injured four people, including a 7-year-old child, and damaged 15 properties.
Russian forces have been shelling Ukraine daily for nearly four years, with recent attacks causing problems for the energy grid and power outages.
Diplomatically, Donald Trump's efforts to end the war appear to be at a standstill. A Ukrainian delegation is in the US for talks with American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
