In Hungary, Viktor Orban's political dominance is threatened as the election outcome remains uncertain. Although the largest opposition party, Tisza, maintains a lead over Fidesz, Orban has managed to narrow the gap.

According to a poll by 21 Research Centre (21 Kutatokozpont), Tisza leads Fidesz by 14 percentage points among decided voters. The poll gives Tisza 38% and Fidesz 30%.

The far-right party "Our Homeland" is likely to be the only other party to exceed the 5% threshold to win seats. Magyar has stated that, if victorious, his party will combat corruption and boost the economy.

The Hungarian elections will be held on April 12.
