Diogo Jota: Fake Foundation Scam Exploits His Name
A fake website claiming to be the official foundation of Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota has defrauded fans by soliciting donations.
The website, named Ā«diogojotafoundation.orgĀ», collected approximately $64,000 in one month. Jota's family and Liverpool have stated they were unaware of the foundation's existence.
Authorities are investigating the case to identify those responsible for this online scam.
