Idaho: 2 Firefighters Killed in Shooting During Fire Response

Two firefighters were killed and others injured in a shooting incident in Idaho, USA, while participating in a firefighting operation. Reports indicate the number of casualties may be higher.

The local sheriff reported that civilians may have been hit. Authorities are conducting simultaneous operations to combat the fire and apprehend the perpetrator(s). No arrests have been made so far.

The state governor, Brad Little, described the attack as heinous and urged citizens not to approach the fire area.
