Ursula von der Leyen Faces New Motion of Censure

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is facing a new motion of censure in the European Parliament, according to the German News Agency (dpa).
The motion was submitted by the far-right group "Patriots for Europe," which criticizes the trade agreement with Mercosur countries (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay).
Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, has informed the heads of the political groups. The debate and vote are expected in the European Parliament plenary session in Strasbourg next week.
This is the fourth motion of censure against Ursula von der Leyen and her Commission in six months. The "Patriots for Europe" group includes MEPs from Marine Le Pen's National Rally of France and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's party.
A motion of censure requires the support of at least 10% of MEPs to be discussed.
