Milan: Police Officer Shoots and Kills 28-Year-Old During Check

A 28-year-old man was killed by a police officer in Milan during a drug check. According to initial reports, the 28-year-old allegedly pointed a gun at the officers.
One of the officers reacted and fatally shot the man. Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi stated that there would be no "shield of protection" for anyone, while Matteo Salvini expressed his support for the police officers.
Investigations revealed that the 28-year-old, of North African origin, was in possession of a blank pistol.
